Questions, answered straight.
Everything here describes how FUR44 actually works — including the parts still in progress. FUR44 opens Thursday, November 12, 2026. If Google's approval of our app is still pending that day, we open in draft mode: we write every reply, you paste it into Google in one tap.
Understanding FUR44
What does FUR44 do?
When a customer leaves your shop a Google review, FUR44 writes a reply draft in a voice you choose. You read it, then approve it, edit it, or skip it. Only replies you approve are submitted to Google. It also includes a link you can send customers to ask for honest reviews.
Who is FUR44 designed for?
Local businesses that live on Google reviews — barbers and salons, cafés and restaurants, auto services, trades, clinics, and shops like them — especially owners who answer reviews themselves, late, on a phone.
Is it only for Google reviews?
Yes, at launch — deliberately. One platform, done properly. Other review sites may come later; nothing about them is promised today.
How is this different from pasting a review into a general AI chat tool?
That works, but you are the courier: copy the review in, prompt, copy the reply out, post it yourself — for every review. FUR44 connects to your Business Profile, drafts in your chosen voice the moment a review arrives, and keeps the whole approve/edit/skip flow in one place, with your approval tied to the exact final text.
What counts as one location?
One Google Business Profile at one address — your shop as customers find it on Google.
I have more than one location. Can I use FUR44?
Each location is its own plan at $29 USD/month. Talk to us at launch about your setup before connecting several profiles.
Drafts & your control
Which writing styles can I choose?
Three presets: Friendly, Formal, and Short & Sweet. They're preset voices, not a clone of you — pick the one closest to how your shop speaks, and edit any draft that needs your touch.
Does every reply need my approval?
Yes. Nothing is posted without your approval of the exact final text. There is no auto-post mode in FUR44. A walk-through: Marcus leaves a 1-star review about a long wait → a draft appears in your account → you read it, change nothing, tap Approve → that exact text, and only that text, is submitted to Google. If you had edited one word first, the approval would have reset and waited for your tap on the new text.
Can I edit a draft before approving?
Yes — edit any word. Editing cancels any earlier approval for that draft, so what gets submitted is always the exact text you last read and approved.
What happens when I skip a review?
Nothing is sent. Skipping is final for that draft — FUR44 will not reply to that review. You can always answer it yourself on Google, or not at all.
Can I ask for a different draft?
Yes. Ask for a new draft and the previous one — and any approval on it — is replaced. You approve the new text, or not at all.
What about reviews with no words — just stars?
FUR44 drafts for those too: a short thank-you for high stars, a gentle invitation to tell you more for low ones.
What if a review names one of my employees?
Drafts are written to acknowledge the customer without shaming, blaming, or confirming anything about your staff in public. For example, a review saying "the young guy at the counter was rude" gets a draft like: "I'm sorry your visit felt unwelcoming — that's not the standard we hold. Please contact the shop directly so we can hear the details." Anything about an employee's conduct belongs in a private conversation, and you can always skip the public reply and handle it that way.
What happens to drafts I don't act on?
They wait in your account. Nothing ever sends itself, and a draft you ignore simply stays a draft until you approve, edit, or skip it — there is no timer quietly posting on your behalf.
Could a draft contain a wrong fact or a promise I didn't make?
It could — drafts are written by AI from the review text, and a review is the customer's account, not verified fact. That's exactly why every draft waits for your eyes. FUR44's drafting rules forbid inventing refunds, free services, discounts, or investigation outcomes — and your approval is the final check. What a bad draft would look like: "We've refunded your visit and spoken to the staff member involved" — when neither happened. FUR44 is built to never write that sentence; if any draft ever overstates, your read is where it dies. Never approve a draft you haven't read.
A review says something about my business that isn't true. How is it handled?
Drafts acknowledge the customer's experience without admitting unverified claims as fact, and without arguing. You can edit, ask for a different draft, skip, or reply yourself — and you can also report the review to Google through your Business Profile if it breaks Google's rules.
Google connection & publishing
What access does FUR44 need to my Google Business Profile?
Permission to read your reviews and post replies you approve, granted by you through Google's own sign-in. FUR44 is operated independently; Google reviews our application for this access (currently in progress, Case 7-3476000041255).
Do I share my Google password with FUR44?
Never. You sign in on Google's own window. FUR44 never sees, asks for, or stores your password.
How do I make sure the right shop gets connected?
During connection you pick your shop from your own Business Profiles, and the shop's name and address are shown before anything is connected. If it's not your shop, don't pick it.
What about my older, unanswered reviews?
You can paste any review into FUR44 and get a draft for it — handy for clearing a backlog. Automatic drafting is for new reviews as they arrive.
How soon after I approve does the reply appear on Google?
Approval submits the reply to Google; Google may take some time to display it, and that timing is Google's, not ours. A submitted reply and a publicly visible reply are two different moments — FUR44 treats them that way in your account.
What if a reply fails to post?
It's marked as needing attention in your account rather than silently retried — a reply is never posted twice on purpose. You can review what happened and decide what to do.
Can I disconnect Google?
Yes, anytime. Disconnecting stops new drafts and submissions. Replies already posted remain on Google — they're your shop's words, under your profile.
Can I pause FUR44 without cancelling?
Yes — disconnect Google and drafting and posting stop, while your account stays as it is. Reconnect when you're ready and drafts resume for new reviews. (Your paid plan, if you have one, is separate — pausing the connection doesn't change billing; cancelling the plan does.)
Difficult reviews & limits
Can FUR44 help with an angry review?
Yes — calm, specific drafts that acknowledge the concern without arguing are the core of the product. For a review like "Worst service in town, waited an hour, nobody cared," a draft reads: "I'm sorry your visit went that way — an hour's wait with no word from us isn't acceptable, and I understand the frustration. Please contact the shop directly so we can make it right in person." No arguing, no excuses, a door opened. You can always edit, get a different draft, or skip and handle it personally.
What about a review I believe is fake?
FUR44 can draft a measured public reply that doesn't accuse anyone. Separately, you can flag the review to Google from your Business Profile — removal is Google's decision, and no service can promise it.
I run a clinic / another sensitive business. Is FUR44 safe for me?
Care is required: a public reply must never confirm whether someone is a client or patient, or mention appointments, treatment, or billing. FUR44's drafts are written to that rule, but you are the final check — when in doubt, skip the public reply and contact the person privately through your normal channels. FUR44 makes no special compliance promises for regulated fields.
Can FUR44 remove bad reviews or improve my rating or ranking?
No. Nobody honest can promise that. FUR44 helps you answer reviews well and consistently — what that earns over time is up to your customers.
Which languages does FUR44 write in?
English at launch.
Asking customers for reviews
What does the review-request tool do?
It gives you one link (and a QR code) to share after a job. The customer lands on a short, honest ask — "How was your experience? Share an honest Google review" — which leads to your Google review page.
How do customers receive it?
However you send it: text, email, a receipt, a card on the counter. You send it yourself — FUR44 doesn't message your customers for you at launch.
Do unhappy customers get the same link?
Yes. The same honest ask goes to everyone. FUR44 never filters customers by how happy they seem — sending only happy customers to Google (review gating) breaks Google's rules.
Can I offer something in exchange for a review?
No — Google prohibits incentives for reviews, including for changing or removing one. The request tool is a plain, honest ask, nothing attached.
Does FUR44 store my customers' contact details?
Not for review requests — you send the link yourself, so we never receive your customer list.
Availability, trial & price
Can I use FUR44 now? What does joining the launch list give me?
FUR44 opens Thursday, November 12, 2026. Joining the launch list gets you one email the moment accounts open, so you can start your free trial first. Joining starts nothing — no trial clock, no charges, no obligation.
When does the 14-day free trial begin?
When you add your shop to your account. Not when you join the launch list, and not when you create the account.
Is a credit card required for the trial?
No. No card is taken for the trial, which is also why a trial can never turn into a surprise charge.
What happens when the trial ends?
You choose: start the $29 USD/month plan (that's when a card is needed), or simply stop. Nothing is charged automatically, because we never took your card.
What does $29 include, and in what currency?
$29 USD per month for one location: review monitoring, a draft for every new review in your chosen voice, the approve/edit/skip flow, posting (one-tap when Google's approval lands; one-tap paste until then), and the review-request link. Taxes may apply where you live.
How do renewal and cancellation work?
The plan renews monthly while active. Cancel anytime from your account — no fixed term, no cancellation fee. Replies already posted stay on Google.
Is there a setup fee or a contract?
No setup fee, and no fixed-term contract. It's a monthly plan you can cancel anytime.
Do I pay per review or per reply?
No — the plan is a flat $29 USD per month for one location, not a meter that charges per review, per draft, or per reply.
My shop has no Google reviews yet. Is FUR44 still useful?
Yes — that's what the review-request link is for: one honest link you send after a job, so your first reviews can arrive. Monitoring is on from the start, and the first review that lands gets a draft like any other.
Privacy, support & leaving
Who operates FUR44? How do I reach you?
FUR44 is a division of Vend Wiki Inc., an Ontario, Canada company. Before launch, the launch list is the surest way to reach us — we read every reply to our emails.
Who can access my information, and where is it stored?
Your account and shop data are stored with our database provider, Supabase, in a Canadian region. Drafts are written using OpenAI's API; payments are handled by Stripe; the website runs on Cloudflare. Access inside FUR44 is limited to operating the service for you. Details: Privacy Policy.
Are my reviews and replies used to train AI models?
No. Your content is used to draft your replies and run your account — not to train models.
What happens to my posted replies if I cancel?
They stay on Google. They were posted from your Business Profile, in your shop's name — they're yours. Cancelling stops new drafts and posting, nothing else reaches back.
